All of our day-to-day shopping takes place within or just outside the triangle.

The shop owner is hidden behind the counter. Sometimes you need to wake the shop owner from a nap to make a purchase.

Some shops have added security bars.

This strip mall houses several independent vendors. Two vendors use the parking lot to display beer by the case and furniture.

Drug store.

Do you have grain to grind to flour. We bring our uji mix to a mill to grind. Uji is a porridge made from wheat, rice, corn, millet and roasted peanuts.

We had several items for the house including coat hangers, tables and water filter stand custom built here.

New liquor store in strip mall, the only one in town. The decals from the previous vendor for telephone services have not been removed.

This guy has amazing skill to repair any shoe with limited access to supplies and tools. His full shop is across the street. Communication is by body language and demonstration, as he is mute; maybe deaf-mute, not sure.

He repairs footballs for the boys too. Pieces of tire tread are cut for shoe soles.
